The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Executive to join a busy and supportive payroll team within a leading professional services organisation.
You'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of client payrolls, delivering an accurate and timely payroll service while building strong client relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with bureau or client payroll experience looking to develop their career in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end payrolls for a portfolio of clients.
- Ensure payrolls are completed accurately and on time.
- Process statutory payments including SSP, SMP, and other payroll calculations.
- Manage Auto Enrolment and pension administration.
- Complete RTI submissions and support year-end payroll processes.
- Respond to payroll queries from clients, HMRC, and third-party providers.
- Carry out payroll checks, reconciliations, and peer reviews.
- Maintain payroll records and support payroll compliance.
- Keep up to date with payroll legislation and industry changes.
About You
- Minimum 1 year's payroll experience, ideally within a bureau or client-facing payroll environment.
- Strong end-to-end payroll processing experience.
- Good understanding of payroll legislation, pensions, statutory payments, and Auto Enrolment.
- Confident with manual payroll calculations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive, proactive, and a collaborative team player.
