Description
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Maintain payroll records and update employee data as required.
- Handle payroll queries efficiently and provide clear resolutions.
- Assist with payroll reporting and contribute to audits when necessary.
- Ensure deductions and contributions are calculated and applied correctly.
- Collaborate with other departments to address payroll-related issues or updates.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and implement necessary adjustments.
- Support the accounting and finance team with ad hoc payroll tasks as required.
Profile
A successful Payroll Administrator should have:
- Prior experience in payroll administration.
- A strong understanding of payroll systems and relevant legislation.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in using payroll software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work effectively under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- CIPP Foundation Degree Qualified or Part Qualified in Payroll is desirable.
