We are looking for a passionate and adaptable PE Teacher to join schools across the Darlington area. The Role
- Deliver engaging and dynamic PE lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5
- Plan and deliver a broad and balanced physical education curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment both indoors and outdoors
- Differentiate learning to support students of varying abilities and backgrounds
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and pastoral teams to promote positive outcomes for students
- Uphold high standards of behaviour, engagement, and physical participation
- Support and contribute to extra-curricular sporting activities where possible
Who We're Looking For
- Qualified PE Teacher (QTS)
- ECTs/NQTs are very welcome
- Previous experience teaching PE within a secondary setting is desirable
- Confident classroom and practical presence with strong subject knowledge across a range of sports and physical activities
- Reliable, flexible, and professional
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- An up-to-date DBS or the willingness to obtain one
- Satisfactory background screening

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
