Reed Education is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in Slough for an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who can inspire children to develop a love of physical activity, healthy living, and teamwork from an early age. The successful candidate will deliver engaging PE lessons across the primary age range, helping pupils build confidence, resilience, and lifelong positive attitudes towards sport and exercise.
The Role
- Deliver high-quality PE lessons to primary-aged pupils.
- Create an inclusive, safe, and engaging learning environment.
- Encourage participation, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles.
- Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress.
- Organise and support extracurricular sports clubs and events.
- Work collaboratively with staff to support pupils' holistic development.
- Promote positive behaviour and strong pupil outcomes.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching PE within a primary or school setting.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Has a passion for helping children develop physically, socially, and emotionally through sport.
- Possesses strong communication and organisational skills.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
