People Strategy Lead
Oldham
£35,000 – £50,000 (DOE)
Full-time, permanent
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:15am – 4:30pm (flexible start/finish available)

Mpeople Recruitment are working with a well-established manufacturing business in Oldham to recruit a People Strategy Lead. This role is suited to an experienced HR professional with partnering exposure, or a Senior HR Advisor ready to step into a more strategic position.
You will work closely with leadership teams to deliver effective people solutions, support business goals, and drive improvement across the employee lifecycle.
Main Responsibilities:
- Partner with managers to align people plans with business needs
- Provide guidance on performance, talent, and organisational development
- Use HR data to support decision-making and improve engagement
- Manage employee relations matters and offer practical solutions
- Support development, succession planning, and performance processes
- Coach and build capability across management teams
- Contribute to HR initiatives including wellbeing and inclusion
Key Requirements:
- CIPD Level 5 or above (or working towards)
- HR partnering experience or strong HR Advisor background
- Confident influencing and building relationships at all levels
- Solid employee relations and employment law knowledge
- Well-organised, proactive, and commercially aware
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Desirable:
- Manufacturing or industrial sector experience
- Exposure to unionised environments or international teams
