Whether your specialism is History, Geography, Religious Studies, or a combination of Humanities subjects, this is an opportunity to become part of a school community that values great teaching, supports professional growth, and encourages students to think beyond the textbook.

If you're looking for a role where your ideas are welcomed, your expertise is valued, and your career can continue to grow, this could be just the place.

The role

You'll be teaching Humanities across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that spark curiosity and help students develop the confidence to question, explore and understand the world around them.

Working alongside a supportive department, you'll play a key role in shaping learning experiences that leave a lasting impression long after the final bell rings.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching Humanities within a secondary setting
  • Brings enthusiasm, creativity and strong subject knowledge to the classroom
  • Builds positive relationships with students and colleagues alike
  • Is committed to helping every learner achieve their full potential

  • Supportive and approachable leadership
  • A collaborative Humanities department with shared resources and planning
  • Ongoing professional development and progression opportunities
  • A positive school culture where staff wellbeing is genuinely valued
  • Well-behaved students who are keen to learn and succeed

Why this role?

Teaching is about more than delivering lessons. It's about inspiring futures, building confidence, and creating those moments students remember years later.
