Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Restaurant Operations Manager to take ownership of designated areas within our restaurant. This role focuses on maintaining high presentation standards, delivering exceptional customer service, driving market growth, and enhancing profitability. The successful candidate will be adaptable to business needs, maintain control, and ensure clear communication while promoting team development.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist in planning and organising restaurant operations daily to ensure smooth running.
- Work closely with kitchen staff, ensuring service quality through daily meetings and customer feedback.
- Maintain high table service standards and personally serve customers.
- Attend operations meetings and regularly update the point of sale systems.
- Train new and existing waiting staff on menu items, recipes, service standards, and more.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, including email and internet usage.
- Manage and maintain company property and ensure all team members adhere to company rules.
- Liaise with other managers to maximise resource utilisation and maintain high standards across all operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of food production processes, recipes, ingredients, and allergens.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and food hygiene best practices.
- Competence in using point of sale systems and managing financial transactions.
