A1 Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative on behalf of a well-established fashion logistics company based in West Thurrock.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong warehouse experience who is ready to take the next step in their career, supporting the day-to-day running of a busy warehouse while leading by example and assisting with team coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Warehouse Supervisor with the daily running of warehouse operations.
- Lead by example, ensuring productivity and quality standards are achieved.
- Pick, pack and dispatch products accurately and efficiently.
- Receive, unload and check inbound deliveries.
- Carry out stock replenishment, stock counts and inventory checks.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely (FLT licence advantageous but not essential).
- Ensure all orders are processed within agreed deadlines.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and follow Health & Safety procedures.
- Assist with training and supporting new warehouse team members.
- Help resolve operational issues and contribute to continuous improvements.
About You
- Previous experience in a seniorWarehouse Operative or Warehouse Team Leader
- Experience within a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to motivate others and work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexible, reliable and proactive approach to work.
- Basic IT and warehouse system experience desirable.
