Description
- Dispense and supervise the supply of medicines in line with legal and professional requirements.
- Provide expert advice to customers on over-the-counter and prescription medications.
- Ensure the accurate and safe preparation of prescriptions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical developments and practices.
- Manage stock levels and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support the healthcare team in delivering outstanding customer care.
- Offer guidance on health and wellbeing to customers and colleagues.
- Contribute to the overall success of the pharmacy.
Profile
A successful Pharmacist should have:
- A degree in pharmacy recognised by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Registration with the GPhC as a practising pharmacist.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A customer-focused approach with the ability to advise on healthcare needs.
- Experience in community pharmacy is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
