Job role: Plasterer multi trader
Location: Covering Oldbury and surrounding
Salary: £35,000 – £36,000 + van and fuel card
Job type: Permanent
I am currently seeking a skilled hard working and reliable plasterer to contribute to the upkeep and improvement of the housing properties. They are looking for someone to join their team who has experience working in social housing properties and their ideal candidate is someone who is hard working, reliable and trust worthy.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct plastering and drywall repairs and installations in social housing units.
- Perform multi-trade tasks, including basic carpentry, painting, and minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
- Collaborate with a diverse maintenance team to address various property maintenance needs.
- Inspect and assess housing units for maintenance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.
- Must be able to use PDA or have strong IT skills
Qualifications:
- Certification or training in plastering or a related field.
- Proven experience in plastering and general maintenance, preferably in a social housing or property management setting.
- Ability to perform multi-trade tasks, including basic carpentry, painting, and minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
- Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in plastering.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy materials.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
