As a Plumbing & Heating Estimator based in Rainham (RM13 8HY) or Branston (DE14 3PD), youll be responsible for:

  • Utilising the companys bespoke CRM system

  • Communicating with customers via telephone and email

  • Creating quotations for prospect, new and existing customers daily

  • Interpreting information provided by the customer to understand their requirements

  • Sourcing prices from various manufacturers and suppliers whilst checking product compatibility and availability to meet strict deadlines

  • Advising customers on appropriate products, pricing and lead times

  • Liaising with both internal and external colleagues to support the conversion of enquiries into quotations and subsequently orders

  • Working to deadlines in order to meet customer expectations

  • Staying up to date with current product knowledge and trends

This is a full time, permanent role, working 40 hours per week from either our Rainham or Branston office (hybrid work pattern to be discussed)

And heres what wed like you to have:

  • A good all-round knowledge of the plumbing & heating industry is essential

  • An appreciation of the demands of working within the merchant industry

  • Understanding of the importance of teamwork and how it can improve service levels for customers

  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding and passion for excellence in customer service

  • IT, Numeracy and Analytical skills required
