We're looking for an experienced PMLD SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 9-18 with PMLD, ASD, and complex physical needs in a specialist Camden school.
Job Title: PMLD SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: London Borough of Camden
Pay: £95-£105 per day
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only
The Role – PMLD SEN Teaching Assistant
- Support students aged 9-18 with PMLD, ASD & physical disabilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support
- Deliver sensory-based learning activities
- Support communication (PECS, Makaton, AAC)
- Assist with personal care, feeding, and mobility (essential)
What we're looking for
- Experience as a PMLD SEN Teaching Assistant (or similar)
- Strong understanding of ASD, PMLD & complex needs
- Confident with personal care duties
- Calm, resilient, and hands-on approach
