Your new role
As a Portfolio Scheduler / Programme Planner, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining integrated programme schedules. You will be responsible for ensuring logical sequencing, managing dependencies, and identifying the critical path to support successful delivery.
You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, challenging assumptions around timelines, dependencies, and resources to ensure realistic and achievable plans. The role also involves analysing the impact of changes, identifying risks and bottlenecks, and developing mitigation strategies.
Additionally, you will provide clear reporting and insights on schedule performance, helping to drive informed decision-making across the programme.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in programme or portfolio planning / scheduling
- Strong understanding of critical path analysis and dependency management
- Experience using planning tools
- Ability to work within complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Confident stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to challenge constructively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
