Powder Coating / Warehouse Operative (Bendi FLT)
ASC Connections are currently recruiting for a Powder Coating / Warehouse Operative to join a busy and fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This is a hands-on position combining production support with warehouse duties, including operating a Bendi (Flexi) forklift truck. The role would suit someone reliable, physically fit, and confident following detailed instructions.
Shift Pattern:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm
- Flexibility is essential – hours and shifts may vary depending on business needs, including weekend work
- Overtime available
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting powder coating and production operations
- Operating a Bendi FLT to move stock and materials
- Loading, unloading, and organising goods within the warehouse
- Following written instructions, including carrying out basic calculations
- Handling products and materials (involving regular heavy lifting)
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and safety
- Working as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines
What We're Looking For:
- Valid, in-date Bendi (Flexi) Forklift Licence
- Good English and Maths skills
- Ability to follow written instructions and processes accurately
- Physically fit and capable of heavy and repetitive lifting
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work well within a team
- Flexible approach to working hours
What's On Offer:
- Starting pay of £12.71 per hour
- Pay review after successful 12-week probation
- Excellent overtime rates (up to double time on Sundays!)
- Early finish every Friday
