PPA Cover Teacher – Bury
Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bury, who are seeking an experienced Primary Teacher to join their team as a full-time PPA Cover Teacher from September 2026.
This is a full-time role for the full academic year and would suit a confident and adaptable teacher who enjoys teaching across a range of year groups while building positive relationships with pupils and staff.
You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons across the primary phase, ensuring continuity of learning while class teachers are released for PPA time. The school offers a supportive working environment, excellent behaviour throughout the school, and a strong sense of community.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have recent UK primary teaching experience (MPS3 or above – Ideally around 5 years experience)
- Be confident teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Be flexible, organised and able to adapt to different classroom environments
- Demonstrate a commitment to raising standards and pupil progress

Unfortunately, the school has advised that this position is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and is seeking an experienced teacher who can confidently cover classes across the primary age range from the outset.
