The firm has built a strong reputation within the local market, providing a full range of audit, tax and accounting services to a diverse client base including SMEs, owner-managed businesses and wider commercial organisations.
We are now recruiting for a Practice Accountant (Audit and Tax) to join the team. The role will involve taking responsibility for audit assignments from planning through to completion, alongside managing a portfolio of tax compliance work and supporting wider client accounting requirements.
You will work closely with partners and senior leadership, taking ownership of your own workload while continuing to support the delivery of high-quality client service. This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant looking to broaden their exposure across both audit and tax within a well-structured and respected practice environment.
Skills Needed
- Part qualified ACA or ACCA (or equivalent).
- Background in practice accounting, with experience in audit and tax work.
- Confident in preparing financial statements, leading audit assignments and managing tax compliance work.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
