Practice Nurse (Diabetes Specialism)
Part-Time (27 hours), flexible
£20-25 per hour, DOE
One of our mid-sized, friendly surgeries in Reading is expanding and looking to take on a new Practice Nurse, to work part-time hours on a permanent, salaried basis.
The hours on offer are flexible depending on your preference, ideally around 27 hours per week, and these can be worked in line with your availability and preference.
The successful candidate will be working alongside a longstanding nursing team, and we're ideally looking for someone who can take the lead in Diabetes, so experience in this area is desirable. The surgery is headed up by a supportive management team and several hands on GPs. It really is a positive and thriving environment to work in.
Salary is DOE and will be in the band 6-7 region of £20-25 per hour upwards, depending on your current skills and experience.
Key skills will include:
· Asthma and COPD Reviews
· Diabetes Management
· Cytology
· Baby and Travel Immunisations
· Blood Pressure Checks
