Are you a passionate Primary Teacher looking for a rewarding Year 5 role in a welcoming and supportive school community?
Astro Education is currently working with a highly regarded village primary school near Knutsford that is seeking a Year 5 Teacher to cover a maternity leave starting in September.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit school with a strong community feel, enthusiastic pupils, and a supportive leadership team. The role is expected to run until at least March, with the potential for further opportunities beyond the initial contract.

The Role
As a Year 5 Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support pupils academically, socially and emotionally
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
- Contribute positively to the wider school community
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2
- Strong classroom management skills
- Enthusiastic, nurturing and committed approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
