Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting a compassionate Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils within welcoming primary schools across Warrington from September.
This Primary SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with children requiring additional support and wants to build positive relationships that help pupils thrive both academically and socially. Schools are looking for a committed Primary SEN Teaching Assistant who can provide consistent support in the classroom while encouraging independence and confidence.
As a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant in Warrington, you will:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional learning needs
- Support children with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and other SEND requirements
- Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Work alongside teachers, SENCOs and parents to support pupil progress
The ideal Primary SEN Teaching Assistant will have:
- Previous experience supporting children with SEND in a school or similar setting
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A calm, patient and proactive approach
- A genuine passion for inclusive education
