The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed EYFS / KS1 Teacher to join the team on a permanent basis starting in September 2026. This role is ideal for a creative and flexible practitioner who is confident teaching across Early Years and Key Stage 1.
You will be responsible for delivering a broad, balanced and inspiring curriculum, fostering a love of learning, and supporting pupils’ academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across EYFS/KS1 in line with the national curriculum
- Create a supportive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
- Assess, monitor and track pupil progress effectively
- Work closely with colleagues, parents and the wider school community
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Has experience teaching within EYFS and/or Key Stage 1
- Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Is committed to inclusive education and supporting all learners
- Has a positive, proactive and collaborative approach
- Enjoys working within a close-knit rural community setting
