About the role
Start date: September 2026
Days/hours: Mon – Fri 8:30am – 3:30pm
Location: Cardiff
Pay: £172.98 a day / paid to scale
We are seeking an inspiring educator and passionate Primary School Teacher to work full-time across primary schools in Cardiff.
As a Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences that positively impact every pupil. You will create engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire a love of learning and support children's academic progress.
The successful candidate will be committed to fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued, challenged, and empowered to reach their full potential. You will work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to create the best learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Be committed to the safety and welfare of children
- Be able to assess and monitor pupil progress and development
- Adapt teaching approaches to enable to help every student
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, attendance, and achievement.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues to support pupil outcomes.
Requirements
- An enhanced child DBS, on the update service (or willing to apply)
- A live EWC registration

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
