September Start | Daily Rate: £226 – £237 per day (Based on Experience)
Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming and high-achieving primary school in the Inner London Borough of Lewisham, who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to teach a motivated Year 6 class within a well-established 2-form entry primary school that prides itself on its collaborative culture, strong leadership, and commitment to staff development.

The Role
- Full responsibility for a Year 6 class
- Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Prepare pupils effectively for the transition to secondary school and end-of-key-stage assessments
- Work closely with parallel class teachers and support staff to ensure excellent outcomes for all pupils
- Create a positive and stimulating learning environment where every child can thrive
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and assessment requirements
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Committed to raising standards and achieving the best outcomes for pupils
- A positive team player who is keen to contribute to school life
Salary
- £226 – £237 per day, dependent on experience
