Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Chester to recruit a dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher for a full-time supply role starting in September. The Role
As the successful Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons that support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assessing, monitoring, and supporting pupil progress.
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
- Promoting positive behaviour and high expectations.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents.
- Contributing to the wider life of the school where appropriate.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- A creative and engaging approach to teaching and learning.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to helping every child achieve their potential.
