Are you a passionate and experienced SEND Specialist Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in primary education?
Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to register for full-time opportunities within a range of welcoming primary schools across the Worksop area. We are looking for professionals who are committed to helping children with additional needs thrive both academically and personally.
The Role
As a SEND Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Work closely with class teachers and SENDCOs to deliver engaging and inclusive learning.
- Support pupils on both a 1:1 basis and within small groups.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage confidence and independence.
- Help create a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
What We're Looking For
To be considered for these opportunities, you should have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
