About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary schools in Sunderland. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children’s learning and development in a classroom setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
- Work with small groups or on a one-to-one basis to support pupil progress
- Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and activities
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Adapt to different classroom settings and age groups across Key Stages
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in UK primary schools is essential
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
- Confidence working across Key Stages (KS1 and KS2)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, flexible, and positive attitude
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
