Reed Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established large primary school to recruit a Year 4 Teacher for a full-time position starting September through to December initially, with potential for extension.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and passionate teacher to take on full class responsibility within a supportive KS2 team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, high-quality lessons and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Full planning, preparation, and assessment for a Year 4 class
- Delivering creative and differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
- Effective classroom and behaviour management
- Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEN
- Monitoring and tracking pupil progress to ensure strong outcomes
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in KS2 (Year 4 desirable)
- Strong behaviour management skills
- A solid understanding of SEN and inclusive teaching practices
- A proactive and flexible approach
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
