Reed Professional Services (RPS) is looking for a Principal Consultant to help organisations across the public sector deliver impactful digital and transformation programmes.
What you’ll be doing
- Winning new consultancy projects across public sector clients
- Building relationships through Reed’s network, frameworks, and your own outreach
- Leading client conversations to understand challenges and shape solutions
- Collaborating with delivery teams to design and scope consultancy services
- Building proposals and Statements of Work
- Managing opportunities from first conversation through to contract
- Growing existing client accounts and identifying further opportunities
What we’re looking forEssential
- Experience in consultative sales or business development
- Experience working with public sector clients
- Confidence engaging senior stakeholders
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Desirable
- Background in consultancy, professional services, or SoW-based delivery
- Experience with bids and tenders
- Public sector network
- Exposure to digital, IT, or transformation programmes
