Salary: £45,000 – £50,000
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a national AJ100 practice who provide a wide range of expertise to the logistics and industrial sector. They are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and talented Principal Designer to come in and hit the ground-running for their team in Leicester.

Duties for the role of Principal Designer include:
- Help deliver technical projects from planning stages through to new build delivery
- Implement the requirements of Building safety Act 2022 and Secondary Legislations 2023
- Lead the design team and other project team members, as well liaising with clients
- Carry out site visits and ensure projects comply with regulations and high ethical standards are achieved
Skills and experience for the role of Principal Designer:
- Relevant degree within architecture
- Strong experience working within a health and safety, design, or project management role.
- Strong interest in health and safety issues and risk management
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with The Building Safety Act 2022 and Secondary Legislations 2023
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Live within a commutable distance to the Leicester area
