Print Finisher
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Print Finisher to join our well-established client based in Swindon, Wiltshire. This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a Print Finisher, Production Operative, Machine Operative, or Manufacturing Operative.
Shifts
Rotating double-day shifts:
• Week 1: Monday – Friday, 06:00 – 14:00
• Week 2: Monday – Friday, 14:00 – 22:00
Candidates must be flexible to work overtime during holiday cover and busy periods, particularly throughout December. There may also be opportunities to work night shifts, therefore flexibility is essential.
Rates of Pay
• £13.00 per hour during the initial 3-month probation
Following successful completion of the probation period and transfer to a permanent contract with the client, the hourly rate will increase.

Day-to-Day Duties
As a Print Finisher, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Assisting with the operation and basic maintenance of production lines to ensure smooth and efficient processes
• Reading, understanding, and following detailed work instructions to maintain quality and consistency
• Monitoring and inspecting products throughout the production process to ensure quality standards are met
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Essential Skills
- Previous experience as a Print Finisher or within a print production environment
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and overtime when required
Desirable Experience
• Experience operating print finishing machinery such as guillotines, folders, laminators, stitchers or binders
• Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
• Previous experience working night shifts
• Availability for an immediate start
Training Provided
- Company policy and procedure training provided to successful candidates
- Site-specific training and ongoing support
