What You'll Do:
As a Printing Operator, your role will be pivotal in ensuring that all print requests are processed with precision and care. You will be responsible for:
- Processing and Finishing: Efficiently manage print, photocopy, and finishing requests while meeting deadlines.
- Operating Equipment: Skillfully operate Xerox colour and black & white printers, along with HP large format printing machines.
- Finishing Touches: Use tools like GBC punch, wiro, laminating, and guillotine to finish documents to perfection.
- Quality Assurance: Review all printing requests, ensuring that each piece meets our high-quality standards.
- Health & Safety: Adhere to health and safety regulations, keeping the workspace clean and organised.
- Communication: Foster strong communication with clients and suppliers to ensure clarity and satisfaction in service delivery.
- Resource Management: Minimise waste and optimise the use of materials and resources to maintain efficiency.
What You Bring to the Table:
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Proficiency in operating Xerox and HP printing equipment.
- Experience with Fiery software and Command Workstation.
- Strong attention to detail with a knack for quality checking.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with clients and suppliers.
