£45,000 – £60,000 depending on experience
Michelle Denny Recruitment has been appointed to support a well regarded South Norfolk law firm with the search for a Private Client Lawyer.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established local practice with a strong reputation and loyal client base, undertaking a varied private client caseload in a team where client care and quality of service remain central to the way it works.
The firm is open to hearing from both developing and more experienced private client fee earners, so the role could suit somebody with a solid grounding in private client work who is ready to take the next step, or a more experienced individual able to bring broader technical strength and autonomy to the team.
Whilst the advertised salary range reflects the level at which the firm would ideally expect to appoint, they would also be open to considering an NQ with a genuine interest in private client work, in which case salary is likely to sit closer to £40,000.
The work is likely to include:
- wills
- probate
- estate administration
- powers of attorney
- other associated private client matters
The role
- Managing a private client caseload and providing clear, practical advice to clients
- Handling matters with professionalism, sensitivity and a high standard of client care
- Progressing files efficiently and in accordance with firm procedures and regulatory requirements
- Liaising with clients, executors, beneficiaries and third parties as required
- Working closely with colleagues across the wider team
What we're looking for
- Experience within private client law
- Confidence handling wills, probate, estate administration and powers of attorney
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or other suitably experienced private client fee earner
- Strong communication and client care skills
- A professional, personable and organised approach
