Legal Secretary / Administrator – Private Client
Location: Central London (Euston)
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum

Working Pattern: Office-based with 1 day WFH after probation

Overview A long-established central London law firm is seeking a Legal Secretary/Administrator to join its busy Private Client department. This role provides full secretarial and administrative support to fee-earners and the department head Partner. You will manage documents, client communication, file administration and general office support. Full training is provided on the firm’s OMS case management system.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing, formatting and managing legal documents and correspondence
- Opening, closing and archiving client files
- Updating internal databases and case management systems
- Assisting with financial administration and diary management
- Acting as first point of contact for new enquiries
- Liaising with clients and arranging meetings
- Supporting business development activities and team meetings
- Assisting with marketing events and internal initiatives
Experience Required
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or Legal Administrator
- Interest in Private Client work (Wills, Probate, LPAs, Estates)
- Strong typing and document-production skills
- Confident communicating with clients at all levels
- Professional, organised and proactive approach
- Strong interpersonal skills and a calm, friendly manner
- Understanding of confidentiality and data protection
