?An established law firm based in Telford is seeking a Private Client Paralegal to join its growing Private Client department. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious legal professional to develop their expertise while supporting a busy team delivering high-quality legal services to individuals and families.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting fee earners with a varied caseload of private client matters.
Preparing legal documents, correspondence, and court applications.
Drafting wills, lasting powers of attorney, and supporting documentation.
Assisting with probate and estate administration matters.
Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and third parties.
Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Conducting legal research and preparing file notes.
Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence.
Supporting fee earners with client meetings and matter progression.
Ensuring files are maintained in accordance with firm procedures and service standards.
Requirements
Previous experience in a Private Client Paralegal or legal assistant role.
Knowledge of wills, probate, estate administration, and powers of attorney.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workloads effectively.
High attention to detail and commitment to client care.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems.
A law degree, LPC, SQE studies, or equivalent legal qualification would be advantageous.
