Private Client Paralegal
Location: Oxted, Surrey
Salary: £30,000–£35,000 (dependent on experience and fee-earning capability)

We are a respected and well-established law firm seeking an experienced Private Client Paralegal to join our supportive and busy Wills & Probate team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a capable paralegal with solid experience in Private Client work and the confidence to support or undertake fee-earning responsibilities.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Assist with and/or manage a caseload of Private Client matters, including Wills, Probate, LPAs, estate administration, and Trust work.
- Draft Wills, LPA documents, probate forms, and correspondence with minimal supervision.
- Liaise directly with clients, executors, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and external professionals.
- Conduct legal research, prepare documentation, and support the team with more complex matters where required.
- Maintain accurate and compliant case files using the firm’s case management system.
- Provide exceptional client care with a sensitive, professional, and empathetic approach.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience within a Private Client department (Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or similar).
- Ability to handle matters independently or with light supervision (fee-earning experience highly beneficial).
- Strong drafting skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Professional, confident communicator with a calm and empathetic manner.
- Familiarity with legal software and case management systems.
