Private Client Solicitor (Associate or Senior Associate) | Growing Regional Firm | Cheltenham | Hybrid Working
Salary: £70,000
Currently working on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a growing and ambitious team in Cheltenham. This role is ideal for a solicitor with at least 5 years' PQE who is looking to play a key part in the development of a new office while handling a broad range of high-quality private client matters.
The Role
- Managing a varied caseload of wills, trusts and probate matters from instruction through to completion
- Advising clients on wills, lasting powers of attorney, estate administration and succession planning
- Handling complex trust matters and advising high-net-worth individuals on wealth preservation
- Providing clear, practical legal advice in line with current legislation and best practice
- Delegating appropriate administrative tasks to Legal Assistants and Paralegals
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, professional contacts and referrers
- Contributing towards team and firm-wide fee-earning objectives
- Supporting the continued growth and profile of the Cheltenham office
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE within Private Client law
- Strong experience across the full range of wills, trusts and probate matters
- Proven ability to independently manage a busy and varied caseload
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercially aware with experience working towards fee-earning targets
- Able to work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
- STEP qualified, studying towards STEP, or keen to undertake the qualification in the future would be advantageous
