Stride Recruitment (Bristol) Limited
Private Client Solicitor – Central London (3+ PQE, Flex for Strong Candidates)
Above-market salary + bonus | Fast-track progression | Modern, expanding firm
I’m recruiting on behalf of a young, modern, and rapidly growing law firm that is strengthening its Private Client offering in London. Established just 10 years ago and now opening its 6th office, the firm has built a strong reputation for high-quality work, ambitious growth, and exceptional career development.
They are now seeking a Private Client Solicitor (3+ PQE) to join their London office, where you’ll step into an existing, well-structured caseload from day one – while also being fully supported to grow your own profile and following.
The Opportunity
This is an ideal role for a solicitor who wants both stability and opportunity: a solid pipeline of work already in place, combined with the freedom to shape the department’s future in London.
You’ll manage a varied and high-quality caseload including:
- Wills and estate planning
- Probate and estate administration
- Trusts
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Court of Protection matters
- Tax and succession planning
Once settled, you’ll also have the platform to build your own network and client base – something the firm actively encourages and invests in.
A Firm That Backs Ambition
One of the standout features of this practice is its commitment to developing ambitious lawyers. They have a strong track record of fast-tracking careers, with multiple solicitors progressing into senior, leadership, and partner-track roles far quicker than the market norm.
You’ll benefit from:
- A dedicated marketing team
- Full support from the Managing Partner
- Events, campaigns, and BD initiatives signed off quickly
- Budget for networking, client lunches, and relationship-building
- Encouragement to build your own following and personal brand
This is a firm where entrepreneurial lawyers thrive and where your ideas will be welcomed, not slowed down by layers of hierarchy.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing an existing private client caseload with confidence and autonomy
- Delivering exceptional client care to both new and longstanding clients
- Engaging in BD and networking (with full firm backing)
- Contributing to the growth and long-term strategy of the London team
- Working collaboratively across the wider practice
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years’ PQE in private client work (flexible for strong candidates with a proven track record)
- Solid technical grounding across wills, probate, trusts, LPAs, and estate planning
- Confidence working independently while contributing to a supportive team
- A proactive, commercially minded approach
- Enthusiasm for BD, networking, and building a personal profile
- Ambition to progress into senior, leadership, or partner-track roles
What’s on Offer
- Above-market salary (DOE)
- Discretionary bonus
- High level of autonomy and trust
- Clear, fast-track progression routes – including senior and partner-level opportunities
- Full BD and marketing support to grow your own following
- Hybrid and flexible working options
- Central London office in the heart of the legal district
- A culture that champions growth, collaboration, and long-term development
Benefits
- Competitive salary + bonus
- Company pension
- Extra day of holiday for your birthday
- Training and tuition support (subject to discretion)
- NHS private top-up insurance
- Access to interest-free loans
- Regular social events
