A Senior Leadership Opportunity in a Growing Private Client Team
An established and progressive employee-owned law firm is seeking to appoint an experienced and ambitious solicitor to lead its expanding Private Client Department.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior private client lawyer looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and forward-thinking practice. The role combines strategic leadership, team development and hands-on fee earning work, offering genuine influence over the future direction of the department.
The Role
Private Client Solicitor to play a central role in leading and developing the Private Client Department, ensuring consistently high standards of client care, compliance and departmental performance.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading, managing and developing the Private Client Department
- Overseeing departmental performance, compliance and service delivery standards
- Supervising and mentoring solicitors, a trainee solicitor and support staff
- Managing a varied personal caseload including:
- Wills
- Probate and estate administration
- Trusts
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Deputyship matters
- Supporting business development and marketing initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and professional obligations
What We Are Looking For
- Private Client Solicitor with significant experience in private client law
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent technical expertise and client care standards
- Commercial awareness with experience of working towards financial targets
- STEP qualification (preferred) or willingness to work towards accreditation
