Private Credit Operations

What you'll do:
- Collaborate with Deal Teams, Legal Counsel, Lenders, Borrowers, and internal departments to facilitate Direct Lending Deal Closings throughout Europe.
- Review and negotiate administrative aspects of Credit Agreements while ensuring operational compatibility and minimising risk through efficient processes.
- Coordinate initial deal funding by managing cash movements, payment mechanics, cutoffs, and escalating issues promptly to maintain smooth operations.
- Engage with stakeholders including Internal and External Counsel, Finance, Investment Accounting, Compliance teams to ensure alignment during deal execution.
- Oversee equity bookings and funding activities; manage conversions and restructure bookings with precision and attention to detail.
- Utilise experience in Facility Agent roles to handle cash/PIK calculations, facility upsizes, repayment mechanics, waivers, and participate in LMA initiatives.
- Manage high-volume inbox queries by prioritising stakeholder requests efficiently and resolving them in a timely manner.
- Ensure accurate booking of deals while acting as escalation point for par and cash breaks across multiple entities within the organisation.
- Coordinate restructurings and amendments such as Debt-to-Debt or Debt-to-Equity transitions and term changes by driving stakeholder alignment for successful execution.
- Play an active role in managing outsourced Sub Agent workflows; oversee controls to maintain oversight and sign-off for relevant outsourced functions.
What you bring:
- Minimum 7-10+ years of proven experience in Investment Management operations with deep knowledge of Bank Loans across primary and secondary markets.
- Comprehensive understanding of basic accounting theories relevant to investment operations within private credit environments.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal teams (Deal Team, Finance) as well as external clients (Lenders, Borrowers) and offshore partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including advanced formulas such as vlookup and pivot tables; familiarity with Outlook and Word is essential.
- Experience using WSO, Advent-Geneva, Everest Black Mountain platforms is advantageous for handling complex loan settlements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills enabling you to connect with stakeholders at all levels while maintaining clarity in negotiations.
- Strong organisational skills paired with effective time management abilities allowing you to prioritise tasks amidst high volumes of queries.
- Ability to multi-task efficiently within a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy under pressure.
- Team-oriented work ethic characterised by willingness to support colleagues collaboratively on projects or ad-hoc assignments.
- Proficiency in Power BI or Python (including Co-pilot features) is considered an advantage for data analysis or reporting.
