A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work for BAE Systems at their Samlesbury site in a 6 month contract within the Air Sector. This role is sitting in a team of 4 within the Central Procurement Team.
Role description; – To provide administrative, operational, and coordination support to the Central Procurement Digital and Technology team, ensuring efficient procurement processes, accurate data management, compliance with policies, and effective internal stakeholder engagement.
Typical duties include will include; – Procurement Administration – Support end-to-end procurement processes – Supplier & Contract Support – Maintain supplier databases and documentation as applicable – Data & Reporting – Maintain procurement records and documentation
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications the jobholder should have an understanding of procurement processes and policies as well as experience with procurement/ERP systems
Skills: Essential: – Strong stakeholder management skills – Analytical and reporting capability essential Compliance awareness – Strong data management and attention to detail – Excellent MS Office skills are required
The role is working 37 hours a week over 5 days (Mon-Fri) around relevant site span hours (06.30hrs – 19:00hrs Mon – Thurs, 06:30pm – 12.30pm Fri). It will be a minimum 3 days a week on site, Monday and Friday are mandatory and the 3rd day is flexible.
