We are recruiting for a Procurement Manager on behalf of a leading organisation within the medical devices sector.
As Procurement Manager, you'll lead the procurement lifecycle from strategy through to supplier performance, helping to create a commercially focused, efficient and compliant procurement function.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies, policies and best practices across the business
- Managing supplier sourcing, tender processes and commercial negotiations to achieve the best outcomes
- Maintaining centralised procurement documentation, including contracts, supplier agreements, quotations and renewal schedules
- Managing indirect procurement across goods, services and operational requirements
- Overseeing the full Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, ensuring purchasing activities are accurate, compliant and efficient
- Identifying opportunities to reduce costs, improve supplier performance and increase operational efficiency
Requirements
- Strong experience in a Procurement Manager within medical devices, healthcare or another regulated industry
- Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 13485 and/or ISO 9001
- Strong negotiation, supplier management and strategic sourcing experience
- Experience managing contracts and supplier performance
- SAP purchasing system experience
- Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management abilities
