Your responsibilities as Product Assembly Team Leader
- Lead the daily planning and coordination of assembly activities to achieve targets.
- Carry out mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, testing, calibration and fault finding to required standards.
- Ensure build records, calibration documentation and quality paperwork are completed accurately before products are released.
- Monitor operational performance, identifying improvements that enhance efficiency, workflow and right-first-time performance.
- Support cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and remove barriers to delivery.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety requirements, ISO 9001 standards and workplace organisation practices.
What we're looking for in a Product Assembly Team Leader
- Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent practical experience within a technical assembly and testing environment.
- Experience supervising production or manufacturing teams, including workload planning and supporting staff development.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, work instructions and test procedures.
- Competence using measuring and test equipment, Microsoft Office and production or ERP/MRP systems.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems, calibration processes and continuous improvement methodologies.
Working hours
7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (Based on a 40-hour core working week, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break daily).
