Product Development Manager (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)London | Hybrid Working
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Product Development Manager to join a leading investment management business on a 12-month maternity cover contract.
This is a varied and high-profile role offering exposure to a diverse range of private wealth investment products, including tax-efficient investment solutions and listed funds. The successful candidate will work across multiple investment strategies including Private Equity, Private Credit, Renewables and Public Equities, supporting product development, fundraising initiatives and investor communications.
Working closely with Investment, Distribution, Legal, Compliance, Operations and Marketing teams, you will play a key role in bringing new products to market while ensuring existing products continue to meet the highest standards of client service and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of new product launches and fundraising initiatives from initial planning through to successful execution.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Oversee the production of investor documentation, including marketing materials, due diligence questionnaires, presentations and client communications.
- Review and approve investor-facing materials to ensure accuracy, consistency and regulatory compliance.
- Deliver high-quality reporting and communications for existing investors, including portfolio updates, market commentary and performance reporting.
- Build strong relationships across Investment, Distribution, Risk, Compliance, Legal and Operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of product initiatives.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of product structures, investment strategies, investor requirements and internal governance processes.
- Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously while supporting both product development and fundraising activities.
About You
You will have experience within financial services and a strong understanding of investment products and product management.
We're particularly interested in candidates who have experience within:
- Asset Management
- Investment Banking
- Private Banking
- Wealth Management
- Tax-Advantaged Investments
Private markets experience is preferred, although candidates with strong public markets experience will also be considered.
Experience working with High Net Worth (HNW) or Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) investors, financial advisers or wealth managers would be highly advantageous, as would knowledge of tax-efficient investment products.
