Product Owner
Surbiton, South West London (Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office)
£50,000 – £60,000 + Benefits
We're partnering with an ambitious, growing technology business that's investing heavily in its product function and looking to hire a Product Owner who enjoys taking ownership and making a tangible impact.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in smaller, agile organisations where you can influence the entire product lifecycle rather than owning just one small piece of it. You'll work closely with engineering, stakeholders and leadership to shape product direction, prioritise delivery and ensure solutions create real value for customers.
What you'll be doing
- Own and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring work aligns with business objectives.
- Translate business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with developers and stakeholders throughout the full product delivery lifecycle, from discovery through to release and UAT.
- Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
- Balance customer needs, commercial priorities and technical considerations when making product decisions.
- Use customer feedback and data to continuously improve the product and user experience.
- Build strong relationships across the business and become the voice of the customer within the development team.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a Product Owner within a small or medium-sized business or a lean product team.
- Experience owning products throughout the full end-to-end delivery lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments where priorities can evolve.
- A proactive mindset with the confidence to challenge ideas and drive continuous improvement.
- Passion for building products that solve genuine customer problems.
