We're looking for a confident and engaging Product Trainer & Consumer Care Specialist to join a leading consumer products business.
This is a unique opportunity to combine product expertise, training, customer engagement and community building within a varied and highly visible role. You'll become the trusted voice behind our product portfolio, helping customers, retail partners and colleagues understand our products, solve problems and achieve the very best results.
No two days will be the same. From delivering product demonstrations and training sessions to supporting consumers and gathering valuable customer insights, you'll play a key role in shaping the customer experience and championing product knowledge across the business.
The Role
As Product Trainer & Consumer Care Specialist, you will:
- Become the go-to expert across our product portfolio.
- Respond to consumer enquiries, providing practical advice and support.
- Deliver engaging product training sessions to colleagues, retailers and partners.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations, both in person and virtually.
- Support retailer engagement and help drive product understanding and advocacy.
- Create informative content and resources to educate customers and stakeholders.
- Help develop and nurture a customer community where users can access expert advice and share experiences.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer feedback and insights help shape future product development and innovation.
- Stay up to date with product developments and maintain a deep understanding of product performance and benefits.
About You
We're open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds and recognise that expertise can come from different routes.
You may be:
- A Chemistry or Science graduate looking to build a career in a customer-focused environment.
- Working within product development or R&D and looking for a more people-facing role.
- Experienced within specialist cleaning, laundry care or a related industry.
- A product trainer, technical advisor, brand ambassador or customer engagement professional seeking your next challenge.
Most importantly, you'll be naturally curious, enjoy helping others and have the confidence to communicate with a wide range of audiences.
Skills & Experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to explain technical information in a clear and engaging way.
- Confidence presenting to groups and delivering training sessions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first approach.
- A passion for learning and becoming a true product expert.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to build positive relationships with customers, retailers and colleagues alike.
