Production Assistant
Location: Poole
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Two Six Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected business in Poole for a Production Assistant.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, supportive team in a varied role that combines administration, customer service and production support. No two days are the same, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a busy environment and takes pride in keeping things organised.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support to the Production department.
- Liaising with customers to understand their requirements and ensure orders are processed efficiently.
- Working closely with the shop floor to communicate customer requirements.
- Producing packaging labels and barcode labels.
- Preparing documentation and carrying out accurate data entry.
- Coordinating and prioritising customer orders.
- Booking collections and deliveries.
- Ordering stock and assisting with project coordination.
- Carrying out occasional hands-on duties, including checking and unpacking customer items.
About You
- Previous administration experience within a busy office environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Confident using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel (Access experience would be an advantage).
- A proactive team player with a positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
