Technical Production Manager
On site – West Mids area. Depth of experience in PCB production is a must.
I am exclusively retained by a highly reputable European manufacturer who are making significant growth within UK Electronics Manufacturing.
Through constant growth and innovation we are now looking for a Technical Manufacturing Manager to become part of the management structure leading a very solid department and team.
Main duties of a Technical Production Manager
Oversee daily production operations through to final assembly lines
Develop and execute production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements
Monitor KPIs and implement improvements
Ensure optimal utilisation of labour, equipment, and materials.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve throughput
Work closely with Engineering on NPI and process optimisation.
Ensure all products meet IPC and customer standards
Collaborate with Quality team to reduce defects, rework, and scrap
Support compliance and audits
Lead, coach, and develop your team
Promote a safe working environment and lead by example
Conduct risk assessments and implement safe working practices.
Work closely with Procurement and other senior management to ensure material availability
Manage production priorities in line with customer demand and shortages
Support inventory control and minimise WIP and excess stock.
