My client are currently looking to recruit a Production Manager (on a 4on 4off shift pattern) to join their site in North Lanarkshire.

You will be working with an extremely successful and well established Scottish FMCG company, that are going through a continued period of development and investment. This position will take responsibility for managing daily production operations, leading teams, and ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance across production lines.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing production team within a food manufacturing environment
  • Plan and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and business targets
  • Monitor and improve production KPIs (efficiency, waste, downtime, output)
  • Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
  • Manage labour, materials, and production resources effectively
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance and Technical teams to maintain product standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production line issues to minimise downtime

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Production Manager / Manufacturing Manager / Operations Manager
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in production management
  • Background in food manufacturing / FMCG environment
  • Experience managing teams in a high-volume production environment

Shift pattern:

  • 4 on 4 off shift pattern; 05:30 – 18:00; 10:30 – 23:00
