Sparkford | £12.71 per hour | Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm, Friday 7:30am-1:30pm | Full-Time
Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established and fast-paced manufacturing business in Sparkford. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual to develop their career within a supportive mechanical production environment, with full training and ongoing support provided.
Key Duties
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company regulations.
- Operate and maintain factory machinery and equipment.
- Assemble products using hand and air tools.
- Inspect and test products to ensure they meet required specifications.
- Package and label goods for internal and external distribution.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Support the optimisation of production processes.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a factory or production environment is desirable.
- Experience using machinery, hand tools, or production equipment is advantageous.
- Strong work ethic with a reliable and conscientious approach.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Effective time management and organisational skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
