Day Shift Operative – Glass Cutting (HU2)
Location: HU2
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (Rotating Days)
- Week 1: 5:00am – 12:30pm
- Week 2: 1:00pm – 8:00pm
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable Day Shift Operative to join a busy manufacturing team within a glass cutting environment. You will be responsible for operating machinery, preparing glass products to specification, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate glass-cutting machinery and tools
- Measure, cut, and prepare glass accurately to specification
- Handle materials safely and efficiently
- Carry out quality checks on finished products
- Work to meet production targets and deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
Essential Requirements
- Previous glass cutting experience or similar manufacturing/precision cutting background
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced, physical environment
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
