MTrec’s New Opportunity:
- MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Trimdon area. MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for an ongoing position.
The Role:
- Attending start of shift briefings to receive targets for the day
- Assembly – Fixing and assembling small components for the rail and transport sector
- Fitting nuts, washers and bolts
- Use of glue guns
- Apply adhesives accurately to panel surfaces
- Fit aluminium and plastic rails to panels using hand tools and fixtures
- Use clamping tools to secure components during the bonding process
- Pack finished products carefully for dispatch, following packing guidelines
- Use of different hand and power tools
- Carrying out visual quality checks of products, reporting defects to team leaders / supervisor
- General housekeeping duties and additional duties as and when required
- Strict adherence to health and safety standards
- Keeping the work area tidy, by sweeping and emptying bins if needed
The Person:
- Familiar with hand tools
- Must have excellent attention to detail
- Previous experience in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to follow instructions and work to quality standards
- Physically fit as some products are heavy
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills
- A team player with a positive, proactive attitude
